How do I sign in?

With your email only. There is no password and no key. Type the email your payment used, and we send you a sign-in link; tap it and you are in, on your phone or your computer. Links work once and live for 15 minutes — if one expires, ask for a fresh one; it takes seconds. If you pay while you are asleep, your account already exists under that email when you wake.

What should I listen for?

Phrases in your customers' words — the situation, not your trade's name for it. “How much to replace a water heater” catches a buyer; “plumber” catches the world. One phrase per line, as many as you want; you can paste a whole list at once. A one-word phrase is never refused — it just carries a quiet note that it will catch a lot. Starter packs for common trades are built in, so nobody starts from a blank box.

Does AskCatch write replies for me?

No — never, and on purpose. AskCatch brings you the person, the question, and the moment; the words you answer with are yours. A tool's drafted replies, pasted by a thousand strangers, become one voice in a thousand places — and one voice in a thousand places is how accounts get flagged. Nothing in AskCatch can draft, suggest, or post a word as you.

How should I answer a catch?

Like the most helpful person in the thread. Answer the actual question first, fully, with what you actually know — and do not lead with your business name: a first reply carrying a name reads as a dropped advertisement, and advertisements are what get accounts flagged in communities. If your answer is good, people ask who you are, and then the name is an answer, not an ad. Nobody enforces that order here but you — it is simply what works.

Do you monitor Facebook groups?

No — on purpose, and here is the whole reason. Facebook groups sit behind a login. The tools that say they watch them read through your own open browser, with your own account: they stop when your laptop closes, and that kind of reading breaks Facebook's rules, so the account at risk is yours. We listen only where it is allowed and runs around the clock — and the same buying questions are asked in the open, on Reddit above all. The long version is in our Facebook guide.

Which places do you listen to?

At launch: Reddit (posts and comments), Bluesky (public posts), Hacker News (posts and comments), and YouTube (videos and the comments under them) — all read by our servers, never through your browser. Web search is being wired and is shown as off until it is truly on.

How do I cancel?

One tap inside your account, or one email to help@doogex.com. No questions, no maze. Your listening runs to the end of the month you paid for, then it stops.

What happens to my catches if I leave?

While you are a customer, every catch is kept and searchable — we never delete on a 30-day clock the way some tools do. If you cancel, your listening stops at the end of the paid month.
